Hi, I'm Laurence!

(she / her)

I’m a Support Engineer | Technical Solutions Engineer with a
hybrid background in software engineering and customer-facing technical support.

I’m currently looking for opportunities as a Technical Solutions Engineer, Support Engineer, Implementation Engineer, or Customer-Facing Developer.

Work History

I’ve worked with global SaaS startups such as GitBook, Zendesk, Airbnb, and Permutive, helping customers integrate APIs/SDKs, debug complex issues, and successfully adopt technical products. My strength lies in bridging the gap between engineering and customers — translating technical concepts into clear guidance, diagnosing problems quickly, and partnering with product teams to improve the overall experience.

I’m fluent in English, German, French, and Luxembourgish, and thrive in environments where I can solve problems, collaborate cross-functionally, and build strong technical relationships.

Logs Dashboard

Next, Supabase, Prisma (Typescript)

While building a shared app with a friend who is less technical, I noticed they often ran into API errors but could not easily explain what went wrong.

So I built a real-time Logs Dashboard. Every API call made by the app is captured, stored, and displayed instantly, along with full request/response details and error metadata.

This turned debugging into a collaborative, transparent process: instead of “something broke,” we could both see exactly what failed, when, and why. The dashboard not only streamlined our workflow, it also mirrors the type of internal tools used by support and solutions engineering teams to investigate customer issues efficiently.

My schedule

Typescript - Next.js/Node/Prisma

I started coding more with Next.js lately, using Vercel for deployments and Supabase for database managament. Plus playing around with dates isn't always easy. No library used here (apart from date fns..)

Ticker

Typescript - React/Node/Tailwind (Express, MySQL)

I started Ticker which is a web application that allows you and your team to easily organise your tech teams.

Tripper

React Native, Firebase, FireStore

Tripper first started as a 24h individual hackathon during my apprenticeship. First it was a really basic app in which you could add trips and associate activities.
I really wanted to take it further and it seemed logical to me to completely switch to a mobile app.
I actually really developed a taste for mobile development, so here is a little pitch:

“Your holidays at a glance! Tripper is an app that allows you to plan and create trips. It centralizes all relevant trip info in a single application, for you and your friends to best plan your trips!”

Social

React Native, Firebase (FireStore, Storage, Cloud Functions, Algolia)

Bored on a saturday night, I started working on a Facebook alike app.

First time using cloud functions, the storage of Firebase and the implementation of Algolia. A whole bunch of new things I learned, it is actually really exciting.

Bringing in the new aspect of having multiple users in the app, can be a bit challenging at some stages since a lot of different scenarios need to be considered depending on the actions a user wants to undertake. It was (still is) really fun though and I totally enjoy it!!

Spotify API

React, Spotify API (Express)

It's been a while since I worked with APIs, so I started doing a Spotify clone using their API. Basic features like adding playlists, adding songs to playlists and searching for songs and/or artists are already implemented but now I am looking to explore it to its fullest.
